Here are our dupes for MAC Velvet Teddy, which is a moderately warm-toned, light brown with a matte finish. It is a permanent lipstick that retails for $20.00 and contains 0.1 oz. It's a good nude lip pencil for NC20-Nc35 skin tones. It's a brown beige that works well with Desi nude lipsticks. I like it because its not overly brown which can look harsh on light skin Desi's. It's a taupey brown that works well with colors like Velvet Teddy, Yash, Honey Love and Cherish. Which lipliner goes with MAC velvet teddy, yash and honeylove? Never tried MAC lipsticks before but sent for these 3, it's impossible to see the exact colors on the screen so anyone know what lipliners go together? Since, I believe at least, that the lipsticks are simular, is there a liner that goes with all 3? Yash is comparable to Honey-love as it's a light-ish brown but it has a warmer undertone and is slightly deeper so it doesn't wash me out as much. I find I can just about get away with not wearing a lip liner so it's a great one to just pop on and go. Velvet Teddy – Matte. Velvet Teddy, a colour most of us have come to fall in love with.

MAC does have some great limited lipsticks, but they're just so hard to get ahold of, which makes it extremely frustrating. Luckily, they have a lot of shades in their permanent range that are also amazing. So, today I wanted to share with you all my favorite permanent MAC lipsticks, which means you can purchase these at your leisure.
Yash| This is a deep nude shade that looks gorgeous on so many skin tones. If you have a darker complexion and don't want a nude like Myth that will wash you out, this is a great alternative. It is a matte formula, but it isn't very drying on the lips so it doesn't feel uncomfortable, but still lasts a long time.
Velvet Teddy| You've probably heard a lot about this shade recently and there's a reason for it. This is a deep toned nude with a slight pink undertone. So if you want a nudey brown pink shade this will be great. Again, this has a matte finish, but it's not dry on the lips and it glides on easily. It is quite creamy.
Honeylove| This shade is another nude shade (sensing a theme here?), but it's a bit lighter. Pdf converter professional 8 mac. Again, it has a matte finish, but it isn't drying on the lips. If you want something a little less brown toned, but still nude, this is a great option.
Kinda Sexy| Last nude-toned shade, I promise! MAC just makes really great nude shades that fit all skin tones. You're bound to find one that fits your complexion. Anyway, this is a nude shade, but it has a more pinky peach tone to it so it's not like a dark brown nude. I love this shade if you want to add a little bit of color to your lips, but still want something nude. It's perfect and subtle for the spring and summer months. Again, I love matte shades so this has a matte finish, but it's not drying on the lips, glides on nicely, and is pigmented just like all the shades mentioned above.

Ruby Woo| Now, this is a blue-toned red that is extremely vibrant and intense. It is probably one of MAC's most known and loved shades. If you are deciding between this shade and Russian Red, I've got you covered. Now this has a retro matte finish and that means it is extremely matte, which really means it is very drying on the lips, but hey, it'll last a long time. At least it'll make your teeth look white since it is blue toned!
Rebel| Finally, a non-matte lip shade, right? Rebel has a satin finish and that means it is pigmented, creamy, and has a slight sheen to it. This is more of a berry plum tone and it is a very popular shade from MAC. Mostly everyone knows about this shade, and it is a gorgeous fall and winter shade. If you want to purchase this I would purchase it during the spring and summer because once the colder months arrive they usually sell out of this shade.
Sin| Another cult favorite that is constantly sold out during the fall and winter months is Sin. Since it is a deep dark blue toned burgundy red it is very flattering and looks gorgeous on literally every skin tone. It also lasts a long time on the lips since it has a matte formula. This has been my go to lip shade when I want a dark vampy red lip color. I literally can't put it down!

Recently I got a couple of new MAC lip products and I'm planning to review them all. I already reviewed the lip pencil Spice and the lipstick Kinda Sexy that I got a while ago, but now it's time for the MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick. Velvet Teddy was one of my most wanted lipsticks for a while. I'm really glad that I got my hands on this baby now, because it's a beauty. Although I have been wearing more lip liners on their own lately, I still have rocked this lipstick a couple of times already. Do you wanna know what I think about it? Keep reading then!
Let's start with the packaging of MAC lipsticks. I've told you this many times, but I just really think MAC lipsticks look awesome. I love looking at them on my vanity or pulling them out of my make-up bag. The tubes are simple yet classy, just the way I like my make-up to be, haha!
Now it's time for swatches! As you can see, Velvet Teddy looks very creamy when it's swatched. That's a great plus in my opinion: most lipsticks with a matte finish like this one are drying on the lips. MAC Velvet Teddy is probably one of the most hydrating matte lipsticks I've tried. It also doesn't accentuate any dry patches on your lips, but I still recommend scrubbing your lips before applying any lippy on them! The colour of MAC Velvet Teddy is very unique in my opinion. It's a light brown colour with a slight red undertone to it. Definitely the colour of a teddy bear, haha!

And this is how the colour looks on my lips. I haven't used any lipliner, yet the colour is still very opaque on my lips. I think this is a pretty tricky colour, 'cause let's be honest: brown lips is definitely not for everybody. With that being said, I think Velvet Teddy is still a pretty ‘safe' brown colour, if you know what I mean. Because this colour is still kind of nude-y on me, it fades really nicely through out the day. You don't have to worry about touching it up or something!
So what about the texture of this lipstick & the colour payoff? As I already told you, this lipstick is really smooth considering the fact that it has a matte finish. This means that you can also rock this colour on the chapped-lips-kind-of-days, if you know what I mean. And although this colour is still kind of nude-ish, it's still very pigmented. One layer of this lipstick and you're definitely good to go.
And this is the moment we all been waiting for (lol just kidding). This is how the lipstick looks on me in a full face shot. I think it looks pretty nice on me, considering this is definitely a bit of a daring colour choice. To be honest, I've always liked to wear a bit more of a brownish lipcolour. It's just that they weren't that easy to find, because most people didn't like them. Now that they are a hype, you can find brown lipsticks everywhere. I still think this is a pretty unique colour, so finding a drugstore dupe isn't that easy. Anyways, I just really like this colour on me!
You can probably guess to answer to that question. It's definitely a yay! I recommend this lipstick to everybody that's on the lookout for a brown lipstick. Just try to make a swatch of it at a MAC counter or store, just because it's a pretty daring colour and it looks very different on every person I've seen. This lippy is also a colour that's close to the Kylie Jenner liptrend, so if you're into that, don't pass this baby up! The texture of this lipstick is very nice and the colour payoff is also amazing, so I don't have any bad things to say about it. It's yet again, an awesome MAC lipstick!
